Wednesfield Impress with Perfect Run at League Championship Qualifier
Wednesfield Snooker Team delivered a flawless performance to top the standings at the opening English League Championship qualifier in Walsall. Winning all eight matches across the weekend, they dropped just ten frames to secure qualification for the finals. The team, featuring Paul Deaville, Oliver Spooner, Andrew Price and Alan Hathaway, showcased consistency and quality, with Deaville also recording the event’s highest break of 95. They were joined in qualification by SWMBSA ‘B’, Leeds and Oxford Snooker League. The strong showing positions Wednesfield as early contenders ahead of the finals weekend in June.
