Mark Joyce Wins 2025 English Seniors Championship

Mark Joyce triumphed in the 2025 English Seniors Championship, defeating Craig Butler 4-0 in the final at Landywood Snooker Club. The 41-year-old former pro dominated the event, winning eight straight matches and making two century breaks.

Joyce topped his group, dropping just one frame, before overcoming Michael Dickinson, John Welsh, and Peter Lines in close encounters. In the semi-finals, he beat Craig Steadman 3-1. Butler put up a strong run but was outclassed in the final, as Joyce sealed victory with breaks of 64 and 78, securing his first English Seniors Championship title.

2025 United States National Snooker Championship

Entry is now open for the 2025 United States National Snooker Championship, set for May 23-26 at The Champion Snooker Club in Concord, California. This will be the first time the venue hosts the event, following its opening in July 2024 by owner Sear Ansari.

The tournament is expected to attract a large field, continuing the growth of snooker in the region. Defending champion Renat Denkha won last year’s title by defeating Daren Taylor 5-2. Entries are available via the USSA's Cloud Snooker system, with full details in the 2025 Championship Entry Document.
