Barry Pinches wins it

Pinches claimed his second title of the season at the Coulsdon event on England’s prestigious national amateur tour, following his October victory in Leeds.

The two-day event featured 46 cueists, including winners from the season’s first three events—Pinches, Highfield, and Kayden Brierley. In the last 32, Pinches defeated Brierley 4-3, with two half-century breaks. He continued his winning run, overcoming Patrick Whelan and Billy Castle 4-3 in deciding frames. Breaks of 62 and 69 helped him defeat James Lee 4-2, advancing to the final against Highfield.

After a tight match, Pinches sealed the victory with two 61 breaks, winning 4-2.

Robertson booked in for BC Open in Canada

John Robertson has secured his spot in the BC Open by defeating Mehran Maneshgar 3-1 in the final. Robertson, who played a later match, dominated after Maneshgar had a tough 3-2 win over John Kocela in the semifinals. Robertson had earlier won 3-1 against Stephen Folan. The tournament featured great action throughout the day, highlighting the players' improving skills. A big thank you to Jonathan Sun and the Top 147 team, Rob Johnson and AAA Photography for the poster, and Sam Tonning for behind-the-scenes help. The BC Snooker Shootout Championship will take place on December 14, 2024, with spots still available.
