Brown Claims Second English Seniors Crown

Wayne Brown secured his second English Seniors Championship title with a dramatic 4-3 victory over Craig Steadman. The 56-year-old, champion in 2019, battled through a 49-player field, producing dominant early performances including three whitewash wins and a top break of 122. He dropped his first frames in the semi-finals but recovered from 3-1 down against Neal Jones to reach the final. In a tightly contested decider, Brown sealed victory with a break of 69, becoming only the second multiple winner of the event

Causier Dominates to Defend Irish Open Title

David Causier underlined his dominance in world billiards by successfully defending the Irish Open title with a commanding 702–355 victory over Robert Hall in Carlow. Competing against a 51-player field, the world number one swept through the group stages with ease before producing high-scoring wins in the knockout rounds. In the semi-finals, breaks of 415, 285 and 288 highlighted his form. Causier carried that momentum into the final, compiling top contributions of 307 and 284 to seal another ranking title and reaffirm his status as the sport’s leading player.
