Liam Davies, Phil O’Kane, Sean O’Sullivan and Cheung Ka Wai have all earned two-year professional tour cards after battling through the opening Q School event in Leicester. Welsh teenager Davies bounced back from relegation with an impressive 4-2 victory over Dean Young, while O’Kane finally achieved his dream on his 14th attempt, overcoming Jamie O’Neill 4-1. O’Sullivan marked a successful return to the professional ranks after two years away, defeating Joshua Thomond. Hong Kong’s Cheung Ka Wai also secured an immediate comeback to the tour, beating Jack Bradford 4-1 to seal his place.
