Denkha preserves U.S. snooker dominance
Chicago's Renat Denkha secured his third major U.S. snooker title in six months by winning the 2025 U.S. Snooker Masters in Sacramento, California.
This inaugural event, organized by AMC Cue Sports and sanctioned by the IBSF, PABSA, and USSA, took place at Sacramento Snooker & Billiard from March 20-23. It featured players from the U.S., Canada, England, Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Netherlands, and Qatar.
Denkha, who previously won the Embassy Open in September and the U.S. National Snooker Championship in November, topped Group F before advancing through the knockout rounds, ultimately defeating Ireland’s David Morris in the final.t.
Michał Szubarczyk Earns World Snooker Tour Cards
Fourteen-year-old Michał Szubarczyk is set to make history as the youngest-ever professional snooker player after securing a nomination for a two-year World Snooker Tour (WST) card by reaching the 2025 EBSA European Championship final in Antalya, Türkiye.
The tournament, organized by the European Billiards & Snooker Association, features Under-16, Under-18, Under-21, and Main events, with tour cards awarded to the Under-21 and Main winners.
Szubarczyk, already victorious in the Under-16 and Under-18 events, dominated the knockout rounds before edging former pro Harvey Chandler 4-3 in the semifinals. He faces England’s Liam Highfield in today’s final (March 22).
