Patel into Junior Championship Final

Kaylan Patel, a 16-year-old from Leicester, has reached the final of the 2025 WSF Junior Championship in Morocco, just one win away from securing a two-year World Snooker Tour card. In Wednesday’s semi-final, Patel defeated China’s Zhou Jinhao 4-0, with breaks of 57 and 55, setting up a final against either Leone Crowley or Amaan Iqbal. Patel aims to become only the second Englishman to win the title, following Stan Moody’s 2023 victory. Already qualified for the 2025 World Championship qualifiers, Patel is poised to earn professional status with a win in the final.

Mink v Bai Final

World number one Mink Nutcharut will face reigning world champion Bai Yulu in the final of the 2025 WSF Women’s Championship on Thursday, both securing 4-1 victories in their semi-finals. From a field of 16 players, including four top-ranked stars, Mink and Bai are the last women standing in Saïdia. Thailand’s Mink is aiming for her third consecutive final and a ninth career title. She has impressed with a high break of 80 and wins over Yang Meng and Rebecca Kenna. Bai, the 21-year-old from China, is targeting her fourth ranking title after impressive victories, including a maximum 147 in the quarter-finals.
