In the semi-finals, he overcame Paul Deaville in a thrilling decider, compiling breaks of 80, 72, and 56. Pullen continued his impressive performance in the final, crafting breaks of 54, 58, 49, and 46 to secure the title. Hunter claims English Over 55 Crown

John Hunter secured his first national title by defeating Gary Miller 3–1 in the final of the 2025 Next Chapter Financial Planning English Over-55 Snooker Championship. The 59-year-old triumphed over a competitive field of 25 players at The Crucible Club in Newbury. This victory marks a significant milestone in Hunter's career, highlighting his enduring skill and dedication to the sport.
