Zhao Xintong claimed his fourth consecutive Q Tour title

Zhao Xintong claimed his fourth consecutive Q Tour title, defeating Ehsan Heydari Nezhad 4-1 in the final in Mons, Belgium. This victory guarantees him the top spot in the WPBSA Q Tour Europe rankings and secures a two-year World Snooker Tour (WST) card for the 2025/26 season. The 27-year-old from China has only lost once in the Q Tour Europe series this season, winning titles in Stockholm, Manchester, Vienna, and Mons. Zhao also made history by recording the first-ever maximum break in Q Tour history and followed it up with another 147 in Manchester. He is confident about his return to the pro tour and aims to continue his success.

Telford Beat Landywood

In an exciting opening round of the Inter-Town Snooker competition, Telford A, three-time champions and last year’s runners-up, triumphed 4-2 over Landywood in a thrilling contest featuring 12 West Midlands individual titles between the teams. Telford quickly took a 2-0 lead with wins from Tom Maxfield and John Fallows. Landywood fought back with a stunning 100 break from Jack Harris, who defeated Paul Harper. In the pivotal frame, Matt Davies edged Robbie James after an intense 80-minute battle. Landywood’s Adrian Woods pulled one back, but Telford’s captain Paul Lloyd sealed the win, defeating Dave Turner. Telford now face Shrewsbury next.
