Jakobsen wins

Teenager Jakobsen clinched the 2025 Danish National Snooker Championship title with a dramatic comeback in the final. Facing a 2–3 deficit, he rallied to win the last two frames, securing a 4–3 victory over Per Micki Christensen. This triumph marks Jakobsen's first national title, making him only the eighth different winner in the tournament's history. Earlier in the competition, Jakobsen defeated Carl-Emil Hartig Rysgaard 3–0, top seed Christensen 3–2, and five-time champion Allan Norvark 3–1 in the semi-finals. The event, held in Copenhagen, featured 56 players and was organised by the Danish Billiard Union.

Dutch Snooker champion

Dutch player Kan has secured his first national snooker title at the 2025 Dutch National Snooker Championship. Competing at the Westend Snooker Club in Zaandam, Kan overcame top seed Mario Wehrmann 4–2 in the final. This victory marks Kan's breakthrough in the national competition. The tournament featured 98 players and was organised by the Dutch Billiard Union. Kan's triumph adds his name to the list of Dutch snooker champions, highlighting the growing talent in the country's snooker scene.
